The Painter's Club generally meets on the 3rd Saturday of every month from Noon until 4:00 PM at the Mason District Government Center.
Painters who attend regularly use artist's oils, enamels, or water-based acrylics, but the activity is not restricted to painting. Bring along whatever project you're working on and take advantage of an opportunity to work in a dedicated space without the distractions at home. An added bonus to painting with fellow hobbyists is their willing to share their tips and ideas on how you can improve your own work.
The room has good lighting and plenty of space. There will be occasional how-to demos, and we have a digital projector for videos (painting tutorials, documentaries on influential artists such as Frank Frazettta or military history) and to show photos from model shows that members attend. Feel free to cone on down and have some fun. So bring your lighting, paints and projects; other helpful items include an extension cord and newspaper or plastic sheeting to protect the table. You may also bring snacks and sodas if you wish.
